Founded in 1975 by Eric Dodd,

E. Dodd & Sons quickly established a reputation for producing very high quality work at a fair competitive price.

Now as then, we are a family company. Since 2000 we have been producing some of the finest quality dust free, wood shavings available. E.D.S. Wood shavings begin their life as Give your horse the best bedding available. E.D.S. Wood Shavings sustainable managed woodland in the North of England. E.D.S. harvest this renewable resource using modern machinery and highly skilled operators. Whilst the timber is transported directly to the recently upgraded, state of the art processing facility in Bardon Mill, Northumberland the woodland is re-worked and re-planted with stocks in preparation for future generations.
